Looking For Permanent Weight Loss Without Dieting?

Do you make a yearly New Year’s resolution to lose weight?

Are you tired of gaining and losing the same pounds over and over? Are you frustrated with dieting and never maintaining your weight loss? 2024 can be the year you lose your excess weight for the last time.

You can permanently lose your excess weight without dieting. You need to pay attention to your hunger signals and eat (most of the time) only when hungry. It’s also important to recognize your body signals telling you you’ve eaten enough and stop eating before you’re uncomfortable or stuffed. Weight loss and maintenance become simple when you eat the amount of food your body needs to function optimally and don’t overeat.

You’ll be able to eat any food some of the time, lose excess weight, and then maintain your weight when eating when hungry and stopping at enough. While you can lose weight eating any and all foods, eating foods that nourish your body – which is increasingly important as you age – will give you more energy and help to maintain your health.

Permanent Weight Loss Without Dieting Is Available:

Another essential skill for reaching and maintaining your natural weight is learning to distinguish thirst from hunger. Your cravings decrease when you are well-hydrated. Cravings also diminish when you limit sugary and processed foods. Salty, fatty, and sugary foods increase cravings and make it more difficult not to overeat.

Recognize your emotions and allow yourself to feel them. Even the unpleasant ones. This will also help you lose weight. As you’ll be less likely to eat when you’re not hungry. When you are willing to feel any emotion – even an uncomfortable one -– you won’t need to eat to numb that emotion.

Most excess weight is due to overeating. You may overeat from habit (such as snacking when watching TV, even if you’ve recently eaten dinner). Or as a response to stress, boredom, anger, or sadness. When you control your habit and emotional eating, eat when hungry, and stop before you’re uncomfortable, many extra pounds will disappear without changing the foods you eat.

Treat Your Body With Love And Respect:

Other factors influencing your ability for permanent weight loss without dieting  include how much sleep you get and your sleep quality. Fatigue due to insomnia, sleep apnea, or frequently sleeping too little can influence your hunger, cravings, and your body’s ability to release fat stores. If you snore, I recommend you get checked for sleep apnea, as it can adversely affect your health and ability to lose weight.

The last factor I’d like to mention that may affect your ability to lose and maintain your weight is how you feel about yourself. If you don’t love yourself enough to treat your body with love and respect, you will sabotage your efforts. Consider what you love about yourself – even if it is just your eyes or your compassion for others. Look in the mirror daily and tell yourself two or three things you love about yourself. The better you feel about yourself, the better you will care for yourself.

So make 2024 the year you treat your body well, reach your natural weight, and feel good about yourself.
