Gail Scott Images October 2022

Gail Scott is a 27 year veteran in the skin care and beauty industry, and loves helping women look their best.

I met Gail on the chat only app, Clubhouse at the height of the pandemic. Immediately, it was clear to me that Gail’s passion for living was a must have for Kuel Life. It didn’t take long for our worlds to collide and our missions to cross paths. Scott shares her fashion and beauty expertise, monthly, right here on the Kuel Life platform.

Our Fashion & Beauty Kuel Life Thought Leader:

KUELLIFE: What type of business do you run/work for?

Gail: Makeup Educator, Style Consultant, & Co-Host of the MIDLIFE MOXIE Podcast.

“As an entrepreneur, we have to constantly cheer on ourselves.”

KUELLIFE: Whats your biggest struggle?

Gail: Remembering to be my own cheerleader. As an entrepreneur, we have to constantly cheer on ourselves. Even though there are many great days, very day is not a banner day, and you have to stay on top of your energy and motivation. As we all know, no one is coming to pump you up!

KUELLIFE: What is your biggest fear about your career? How do you work through it?

Gail: I think we always fear that we will run out of clients, but I just remind myself that I started with zero clients and built all that I now have from that. I’ve got you covered in the fashion and beauty department.

Cheer Yourself On:

“You are chemically made up for different things in different seasons”

KUELLIFE: How do you measure your success?

Gail: Client satisfaction, personal happiness and fulfillment, and that I am a woman with the means to support herself.

KUELLIFE: Finally, what career advice would you give other women in midlife and beyond?

Gail: To GO FOR IT! If you are in midlife, you are, at best, halfway done here on earth. You are chemically made up for different things in different seasons, and after menopause, you are geared to be your personal best self. Whatever skills you have, whatever lessons you have learned, whatever you want or love to do, DO IT! It can be for money or fun, but just do it.
