Welcome dinner with Leslie & Jack at the villa. Relax with a glass of Prosecco and some antipasta after your day’s travel.
Traditional Italian breakfast of coffee, Proscuitto, cheese, jam, salty croissant, Schiaccata bread, yogurt, fruit. A walk in the Tuscan countryside with Jack & Leslie as she shares, and we learn about our beautiful Italian landscape. The afternoon is free to explore the landscape of the winery. Take a nap and recover from your travels!! Dinner at the Villa at 7:00 pm
Tour of a vineyard that has been in the same family for three generations! This place is like family, and we will learn the history of the winery and taste delicious wine! Then we will explore Roman ruins and walk to the top medieval tower
Breakfast together and then a cooking class with a lovely lunch outside in the garden, after that the rest of the day to relax and thoroughly enjoy the winery and countryside, read a book, swim, connect, walk . . . enjoy!
We will have breakfast and a morning walk, and in the afternoon, visit San Gimignano. Encircled by 13th-century walls, its old town centers on Piazza Della Cisterna, a triangular square lined with medieval houses. It has a skyline of medieval towers, including the stone Torre Grossa. The Duomo di San Gimignano is a 12th-century church with frescoes by Ghirlandaio in its Santa Fina Chapel.
We will have breakfast and then experience a private tour of Siena, one of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany. The medieval town is set on three hills connected by winding stairways and steep steps with the Piazza del Campo in the heart of Siena. We will enjoy lunch and dinner together in this spectacular little city.
We will enjoy daily a Traditional Italian breakfast at our farmhouse, and then we take the train to Florence! We will have a private tour of the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenza where Michaelangelo’s David is on display. Visit the Uffizi Gallerie, which is the most visited art museum in the world. It contains works from Italian Renaissance artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, who themselves went to the Uffizi to seek inspiration for their work. Enjoy lunch together at a lovely Italian restaurant near the Uffizi that has been run by the same family for generations! The late afternoon is free time for you to explore by yourself or with fellow travelers. Leslie is happy to share some of her favorite shops and welcomes companions. We will spend the night in Florence at a lovely hotel in the heart of the city.
After an 8:00 am breakfast, we say goodbye and head home with a renewed energy, positive memories, and a plan for self-care and healing. Packages available for two additional days in Florence. Contact me at [email protected].
