GAYLE PETRILLO

Gayle is a coach, trainer, author and speaker.

As a burn survivor, Gayle has overcome many obstacles including body image issues, fears and phobias (rational & irrational), imposter syndrome, lack of self-confidence, and more. Burned by hot liquid at 2 ½, she is now, finally, at 70, comfortable in her own skin, and shares part of her story in person, and in The Accident, published in 2021. In 2025 the rest of her story will be told in her second book.

Since 2017 Gayle became a certified coach, and works in the arena of career, working with clients to build confidence, with stand-out resumes, mock interview sessions, practicing negotiation and networking skills, and performing wardrobe analysis in preparation for landing their ideal role. She also does executive coaching with those already in, and/or preparing to land in the C-Suite.

Gayle works with corporate clients training customer service, etiquette and strategic planning.

In addition, Gayle speaks to a variety of audiences, from 5th graders in schools, to non-profits and for-profit organizations. She has been the keynote speaker for graduations and fundraisers; a breakout speaker for Tucson Young Professionals annual conference; and at book clubs, corporate lunches, and more. Her topics include: Who are our customers; We’ve all been burned and feel alone; My secrets to overcoming fears and phobias, body image, imposter syndrome, bullying, and more.

Gayle believes, and has personal experienced, that by telling her story, she not only gives others permission to share theirs, but she continues to heal and helps others do the same. We all have stories, don’t we?
