Intro to QiGong with Kristen Polzien

    Kristen Polzien, certified health coach and Kuel Life Coach, shares with all us KUEL women an introduction to the practice of QiGong.

    QiGong is literally translated into: “Life Energy Cultivation”. It is aholistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for the purposes of health, spirituality, and martial arts training. With roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy, andmartial arts, qigong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance qi (chi), translated as “life energy”” – Wikipedia

    “Qigong is not exercise — it is dynamic meditation. Doing repetitions is not the focus – it is conscious application of the three intentful corrections – lengthen the spine, deepen the breath, clear the mind or visualize healing.”Dr. Roger Jahnke, OMD.

    We welcome you to join Kristen in exploring this restorative mindful practice especially created for Kuel Life and our Community of women. Kristen has other beautifully led movement practices to offer the women of Kuel Life.     Kristen has a PhD. in Exercise Physiology. She has spent 20+ years developing coaching programs, is a Certified Health Coach, Certified Holden Qi Gong Teacher, and is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
