Marketing Thought Leader: Lori Lyons
Self-care – we hear about this every day. How we need to take time for ourselves, get away, and just – well – take care of ourselves.
“Make sure you are working on your processes early and often.”
Business Self-Care:
How many of us though, do the same things with our businesses. And actually take care of them? Business self-care consists of the little things that we need to pay attention to in our businesses. Sort of the equivalent of a relaxing spa treatment or a mani/pedi.
I know business owners get tired of hearing this, but the first order of business is making sure your ideal client is still your ideal client. How are you talking to them? Has their language changed; or has your industry changed or sifted? Are there new pain points to consider?
Moreover, make sure you are working on your processes early and often. Take advantage of processes. Read, listen to podcasts, learn! Spend reflective time thinking about your business.
All in all, taking care of your business and these self-care strategies are ones you should definitely pay attention to. So your business takes care of you!
