If you’re looking for a health coach for women over 50, Jacqui Garrison cuts through the noise with hormone-smart, strength-first guidance for thriving, not shrinking.
Every woman who steps into our Kuel Life Thought Leader community brings her own kind of edge. Jacqui Garrison brings the kind that matters: the kind forged in real life, real research, and a hard-earned refusal to keep treating her body like a problem to fix. She’s done apologizing for being loud, taking up space, and choosing her health without permission. And she’s not here to sell you another “eat less, do more” fantasy. She’s here to burn that myth to the ground.
Jacqui is a health coach for women over 50 who tells the truth most of us learn too late: hormones matter, strength is protection, and nourishment beats restriction every time. She lifts. She adventures. She thrives on purpose. Meet Jacqui Garrison.
How a Health Coach for Women Over 50 Helps You Thrive
Fast, Fierce, and True
1. What have you stopped apologizing for, and what changed once you did?
I’ve stopped apologizing for being loud, for wanting more, for taking up space—and for prioritizing my health. Once I stopped shrinking myself, everything shifted. I have more energy, more confidence, and I actually enjoy my life instead of running on autopilot.
2. What truth do you say out loud that other women still whisper?
The changes in our bodies aren’t just “aging.” We have way more control than we realize over how we feel, move, sleep, and manage stress. Nourishing our bodies so they function better, that’s where our ideal weight is hiding, not in restriction.
3. What’s a part of midlife you were never warned about, but wish someone had told you?
Hormones matter more than we’re led to believe. I would give anything to go back to 48 years old and demand HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy). I don’t think I’d have osteoporosis today if I had. Understanding your hormones early is game-changing.
4. What’s a recent moment that made you feel fully alive?
Flying across Costa Rica on an extreme zipline, wind in my face, heart racing. It reminded me that fear can feel amazing when you show up fully.
5. Give us a “midlife myth” you’re burning to the ground.
Being skinny brings joy. That’s a big lie. At this age, being frail is far scarier. Eating less and doing more is the biggest myth ever. Our bodies need nourishment, love, and respect to be the best version of themselves.
6. You chose to add your voice to Kuel Life. What made you say yes? And what ripple do you hope to create?
I said yes because Kuel Life celebrates women over 45 as fully alive, bold, and unapologetic. I hope my voice helps women reclaim confidence, energy, and strength in their bodies to age fiercely, and realize that midlife is about thriving, not shrinking.
GOING DEEPER
7. What part of your story took the longest to own, and what helped you claim it?
Owning that I had been doing health all wrong for decades. Countless diets and workouts didn’t protect me from fatigue, weight gain, or osteoporosis. Research, self-study, and coaching education helped me turn my mistakes into a mission to help other women.
2. Tell us about one thing you do for your body, mind, or pleasure that others might raise an eyebrow at, but you swear by.
I lift weights three to four times a week and chase adventures like ziplines or hiking trails. Some women gasp at that age, but it keeps me strong, fearless, and fully alive.
