Joan Senio’s professional career includes 20+ years as a private sector healthcare facilities executive and 15 years (and counting) as a consultant.
How did Joan come to our Kuel Life Community? Our very own OG (original gangster) Home Kuel Life Thought Leader, Lori Roach brought her into the fold. Isn’t that wonderful? Committed to bringing you tips, tricks, and life hacks from as many experts as possible, Kuel Life is always excited when we get to welcome a brand new member to the roster!
Help me welcome Joan Senio:
KUELLIFE: What type of business do you own/run?
Joan: My business is KindCompasCoach. It is a blog and website located at www.kindness-compassion-and-coaching.com
KUELLIFE: What prompted you or drove you to become an entrepreneur? When?
Joan: I started the blog about five years ago. I wanted to create a safe space where women who may be struggling or looking for inspiration could find coaching resources delivered in a kind, compassionate style. I cover all aspects of life, but am working to hone my niche to emphasize self-discovery and personal development.
KUELLIFE: What’s your biggest struggle?
Joan: I still have a demanding full-time job as a consultant. It is a challenge to find the time to devote to KindCompasCoach. It is also challenging to learn an entirely new business model and keep up with all the changes in blogging and website technologies.
“I work through it by reminding myself it’s benefitting many other women.”
Tribe Of Like Minded Women:
KUELLIFE: What is your biggest fear as an entrepreneur? How do you work through it?
Joan: I don’t have a fear, per se related to KindCompasCoach, except perhaps that I will not be able to give it the attention it requires and deserves to flourish. I work through it by reminding myself it’s benefitting many other women. That helps me find the energy when I’m running low!
KUELLIFE: How do you measure your success?
Joan: Right now, success at KindCompasCoach = more views, more collaborations, a higher domain authority, and ultimately more income. Ultimately, I would prefer to measure success through client engagement and testimonials.
KUELLIFE: Finally, what advice would you give other women about taking an entrepreneurial path?
Joan: Build a tribe of like minded women to help cheer you on! A devoted support group who get as much joy from your success as they get from their own. We’re so much stronger together.
