Finding Love In Midlife:
KUELLIFE: What type of business do you own/run?
Laurie: Laurie Gerber Coaching Inc. A coaching business that focuses on helping women in midlife find love.
KUELLIFE: What prompted you to become and entrepreneur?
Laurie: I became an entrepreneur in my 20’s then worked for 20 years for a coaching company. The challenges of being in the sandwich generation–caring for aging parents while still having one of three kids at home nudged me back into entrepreneurship. I need to manage my own schedule and have the flexibility of it.

Women In Midlife And Beyond:
KUELLIFE: What’s your biggest struggle?
Laurie: I did not enjoy coaching women in their late 30’s on finding love because too often they would sell-out in order to have children. It’s why I prefer working with women in midlife and older.
KUELLIFE: What is your biggest fear as an entrepreneur? How do you work through it?Â
Laurie: All of life is uncertain, just like running a business. Sometimes that gets stressful. I meditate, eat well, exercise, journal and, as a coach, I have a coach who can talk me off the ledge if I’m scared.
“All of life is uncertain, just like running a business.“
The Right Mindset:
KUELLIFE: How do you measure your success?Â
Laurie: I set tangible goals each year and measure them month to month.
KUELLIFE: Finally, what advice would you give women about dating in midlife?
Laurie: To date effectively in midlife, you need the right mindset, strategies and tools and a supportive group of women cheering you on! That’s what I see to provide.
