Beauty Thought Leader: Elise Marquam-Jahns
If you’re searching for the best makeup products for mature skin that won’t break the bank, Krice delivers high-performance, vegan beauty at an incredible price point.
If you’re curious about the best Krice makeup products for mature skin, you’re in for a treat. These affordable gems prove that drugstore prices can deliver high‑end results without sacrificing quality or performance.
Founded in 2024, Krice is known for creating high‑quality, on‑trend, and innovative makeup products at an accessible price. Most items cost under $15, with an average price point around $8. The brand is cruelty‑free and 100% vegan, following strict European Union regulations that ban more than 1,500 ingredients. Krice also maintains its own “clean” standard by excluding parabens, microplastics, and volatile silicones.
I also find it fascinating that Krice refreshes 25% of its product lineup twice a year and releases up to 14 limited‑edition collections annually. This commitment to innovation keeps the line fresh and exciting for beauty lovers of every age.
As a professional makeup artist whose passion is helping women over 50 look and feel fabulous, I love sharing affordable products that truly perform on mature skin. In this article, I’ll walk you through a full face of Krice products, highlighting both longtime favorites and new finds that impressed me.
Best Makeup Products for Mature Skin: Elise’s Top Picks from Krice
Krice Eyeshadow Palettes for Mature Eyes
Let’s start with the eyes, because most of us love a good neutral look. Krice offers five eight‑pan eyeshadow palettes. The two I used were Pure Nude and Dark Cocoa, both of which feature a balanced mix of matte and shimmer shades.
The Pure Nude palette includes four shimmer and four matte shades described as “velvety soft” with high color payoff. The Dark Cocoa palette has three shimmers and five mattes. I appreciate that both palettes offer a full range from light to dark, so you don’t need to reach for other palettes to complete your look.
The Pure Nude shades blended beautifully and offered easy application, while the mattes in Dark Cocoa gave a rich, natural finish that works for both everyday and more dramatic looks. The shimmer shades applied best with a fingertip to achieve that luminous pop.
Krice Hyperlash Mascara for Sensitive Eyes
Mascara can be a challenge for those of us with sensitive eyes, but the Krice Hyperlash Mascara performed beautifully. It’s formulated to be clump‑proof, flake‑free, and lightweight, while adding both length and volume.
Because Krice adheres to EU ingredient standards, I felt comfortable giving this mascara a try, and I’m glad I did. It didn’t irritate my eyes and added definition without heaviness. For $8, it’s a remarkable value.
Krice Perfector Poreless Blur Primer
As we age, enlarged pores and uneven texture can make foundation tricky. The Perfector Poreless Blur Primer helps minimize those issues with a creamy, soft texture that smooths fine lines and blurs pores. It now includes niacinamide for extra skin benefits, and it truly lives up to its claims.
Krice also makes a variety of primers for different needs: oil control, redness reduction, glow enhancement, grip hold, and even a bronze glow option.
True Skin Hydrating Foundation + Soft Glam Filter Fluid
One of my long‑time favorites is Krice’s True Skin Hydrating Foundation in shade 007 Cool Nude. It provides medium, buildable coverage with a natural, skin‑like finish and contains hyaluronic acid and watermelon seed oil for hydration. The price? Only $10.
To add more glow, I mixed it with Krice’s Soft Glam Filter Fluid, their answer to the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. This $10 product can be worn alone, under makeup, or mixed with foundation for a soft, lit‑from‑within effect. The combination of these two products created a radiant, even finish that looked beautifully natural on mature skin.
Krice Under Eye Brightener and Concealers
For brightening under the eyes, Krice’s Under Eye Brightener in Light Rose worked beautifully. It has a creamy consistency and blends easily without settling into fine lines. It comes in four shades, and at $6, it’s an affordable option that performs well.
To refine and lift the under‑eye area further, I mixed two Krice concealer shades—Cool Cashmere and Neutral Ivory—on the back of my hand before applying. The result was smooth coverage that brightened without looking heavy.
Contour and Blush for a Soft, Natural Finish
While Krice doesn’t currently offer a contour shade that matches my skin tone, I used the M Cosmetics Contour Stick in Terra. It glides on effortlessly, blends like a dream, and complements the rest of the Krice products beautifully.
For blush, I combined two favorites: the Krice Blush Affair Cream and Powder Palette in Pleasing Pink and a soft pink shade from the Festive Treasures Holiday Palette. Together they created a subtle, youthful flush with a luminous finish. To boost glow, I topped my cheekbones with the cream highlighter from the same holiday palette for a soft, natural radiance.
Krice Lip Liners, Lipsticks, and Gloss
Krice’s Plumping Lip Liners are an absolute standout. They come in 15 shades and cost just $4 each. My favorites are I Like to Mauve, Cheers to Life, and The Wild One. The liners glide on easily, define the lips beautifully, and prevent feathering.
For lipstick, I layered Good Intentions and Casually Overdressed, both matte shades that stay put and resist migrating into fine lines. To finish the look, I topped them with Diamond Glaze Lip Gloss in Less Bitter, More Glitter for shine without stickiness.
Shake Fix Glow Spray
The final touch was Krice’s Shake Fix Glow Spray, a hydrating mist that sets makeup while adding subtle radiance. The spray mechanism can be a bit temperamental, but applying it with a damp sponge worked perfectly. It provided a fresh, hydrated finish without emphasizing texture or pores.
Best Makeup Products for Mature Skin: A Wrap-Up
Of all the Krice products I tested, several truly stood out. The True Skin Foundation and Soft Glam Filter Fluid combo gave my skin a natural, healthy glow. The Perfector Poreless Blur Primer visibly smoothed texture, and the Hyperlash Mascara delivered length without irritation.
The cream blushes and highlighters added beautiful luminosity, and the lip liners and lipsticks remain some of my all‑time favorites for both comfort and color payoff.
