We have finally made it to fall which means it’s time to refresh our wardrobe with new and exciting clothes and accessories. But before you go to your local mall or favorite site online, wouldn’t it be wonderful to know what is trending this season?
Take a look at all the fabulous fall shades of fashion. Grab on to one of these colors to make a fresh statement for the fall and winter.
RAVISHING RED:
Red is one of my favorite fabulous fall shades of fashion. Nothing beats a woman walking into a room with a red dress. She is a lady to be noticed! Not ready to make a huge statement in red? Maybe just add a fun accessory like I did with this tote bag shown below. This season there are several shades of red so find one that complements your coloring. My favorite color for fall is oxblood which is a stunning offshoot of red.
Bonus Tip – If you get nervous doing an all red outfit, consider trying a mix of pink and red. This color mix is so beautiful and so easy to pull together.
DEEP BLUES:
Blue is one of my favorite colors so pulling this out for the season will be cinch. We all love classic navy but why not go for more electric blues or even do a monochromatic look in varying shades of blue. I promise you won’t feel feel blue when you add this dynamic shade to your wardrobe.
SHADES OF GREY:
Wearing gray in winter seems like a no-brainer but take it to another level by wearing many different shades of gray together. Just be careful with what shade is closest to your face. I am very light-skinned so heather gray washes me out. I opt for a darker grey to contrast with my blond hair. Gray skies are welcome this season.
Bonus Tip – Don’t be afraid to add another color with accessories to create some contrast with your gray monochromatic outfit. I added tan suede boots to really make this look stand out.
EMBRACING OLIVE:
Olive is a color that is starting to show up in every single season. It’s another shade you can add to the neutral list. This color is another fabulous fall shade of fashion. It reminds me of camouflage print and masculine-style clothes. Try to find pieces that have feminine vibes like I did with this satin skirt above. Consider turning to this color instead of black for a change of pace. Feel this color is too drab? Just do bottoms because it works well with every color. Or consider buying a jacket in this shade like I did below.
CARAMEL KUEL:
This is probably my favorite color of the season. It’s the richest color of the brown and autumn tones. I think a great way to add this color to your wardrobe is to do it with accessories. Leather handbags and boots are at the top of my list of what to buy to add this shade to your arsenal. Feeling adventurous? Go for a caramel-colored leather jacket. I promise you people will stop at take notice.

I love the caramel idea… haven’t really had a lot of that color in my wardrobe. Kathrine wears it well… It’s fun to add something ‘unusual’ to the mix.
