We at Kuel Life, HEAR YOU.
Excited to share this week’s Reel Talk Tuesdays: Beth.
From Self Loathing To Self Love – Beth:
“What broke me through to more self-love was finding my physical power through yoga, triathlons, running, cycling and snowboarding.”
“I often felt like I didn’t fit in, like something was missing and that I would only be loved when I could figure out how to fix myself. My story is about my journey through self-disdain. And, the sadness and anger that came from not liking myself.
For years, I motivated myself to change through mental berating and became more disillusioned when changes didn’t stick. I lost the connection to my essence and to my body. It was just too painful for me to be there. I was overwhelmed by my emotions and lived in my head more than my heart.
What broke me through to more self-love was finding my physical power through yoga, triathlons, running, cycling and snowboarding. The deeper embodiment ignited my wisdom and ability to be transformed by the knowledge of nature and the magic around me. I could feel myself back in my body again. And, I used that power to uncover what had been there all along for me- a beautiful complete soul who wanted to experience the world with joy and ease.” – Beth
