Blueprint Breaker: Amy Palmer
Learn to create your own Joy Jar – raise your vibration.
Recently, I felt my mental an emotional vibrations spiraling. It’s a familiar feeling. Brought on by excessive stress, external circumstances, world events. In the past I would ride it out a bit too long- to the point where I’d feel depleted.
Fill Up Your Joy Jar:
This time I remembered the key lesson I learned during my 2022 sabbatical: “Fill Up Your Joy Jar”. During my sabbatical, I spent quality time figuring out the types of fuel my body and soul require.
I filled up my Joy Jar with everything that raises my vibrations and gives me energy:
- Nature
- Movement
- Sunshine
- Swimming
- Kayaking
- Live music
- Performing Arts
- Quality time with loved ones
- Journaling
- Dancing
- Singing
To just name a few.
” During my sabbatical, I spent quality time figuring out the types of fuel my body and soul require.”
Unpack The Joy Jar:
I made a commitment to myself that I would not let my fuel tank get empty. And I kept that promise for the better part of two years. Then recently, I realized my gauge was on empty and the warning light had been flashing.
It was time to unpack the Joy Jar.
I picked just a few items from my Joy Jar: spent an afternoon at a beautiful park by a beautiful lake, walking and journaling. Spent another afternoon kayaking and soaking up the sun.
It is mind-blowing to me just how quickly it works! My mindset, my outlook, my energy immediately improved! Do you have a Joy Jar? What is in it? Is it time to unpack it and use it again?
If you don’t have a Joy Jar, I highly recommend creating one.
